December 2020 Message

At this time, the Sooke Secret Garden Tour committee is proceeding with plans for an actual 2021 garden tour. Please watch for updates in the new year.

The year 2020 has been an interesting year for the Sooke Philharmonic Society and its major fundraiser, the Sooke Secret Garden Tour. In accordance with the COVID 19 directions received from Dr. Bonnie Henry, we unfortunately had to cancel many of the 2020 concerts and the garden tour. But we had some wonderful opportunities to produce virtually some wonderful concerts, as well as the garden tour, during the pandemic lockdown.

The garden tour committee turned to technology to present a video of the wonderful gardens from our 2019 tour. We received so much support and encouragement for the production of the video and thank everyone involved.

If you have not yet viewed the garden tour or the amazing Sooke Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus concerts, you can still enjoy them on our websites or on FaceBook. We gratefully received donations in support of the Sooke Philharmonic Society through the garden tour video and the online concerts.

We wish you all a safe and healthy holiday season and look forward to seeing you in person at our concerts and garden tour in 2021.
